Introducing Students to New Opportunities through MY Bharat at BB Mahato School, Kura, Bokaro

A youth awareness programme on MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) was organised at Binod Bihari Mahato School, Kura, with the aim of introducing students to various opportunities provided by the Government of India for young people. Dr. Jaydev Kumar Mahato, Executive Director, Jharkhand Foundation Kendra, interacted with the students and shared useful information about the MY Bharat platform and its programmes. The session benefited around 200 students, who learned about opportunities related to volunteering, leadership, skill development, experiential learning, social service, and community participation. Dr. Mahato encouraged the students to make use of the MY Bharat platform, discover activities suited to their interests, and actively participate in initiatives beyond their regular academic studies. He also highlighted how involvement in social and community activities can help young people build confidence, communication skills, leadership abilities, and a stronger sense of responsibility. The interaction encouraged students to think beyond textbooks and explore experiences that can support their overall development. The enthusiastic participation of the students made the programme a valuable youth-engagement initiative. The session at Binod Bihari Mahato School, Kura, helped create awareness about MY Bharat and encouraged young minds to explore opportunities, develop their skills, and contribute positively to society and nation-building.
