In a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship and community bonding, the Jharkhand Foundation Kendra, in collaboration with Rotary Community Corps (RCC), Bokaro, successfully organized a Day Volleyball Tournament on 29/06/2025 at Pindrajora. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from teams across the district, drawing a large crowd of local supporters, youth, and sports lovers. The tournament was not just a sporting event but also a platform to promote unity, fitness, and youth empowerment in the region.  The tournament was inaugurated by the Rotarian Ashok Taneja. The opening address emphasized the importance of sports in building discipline, teamwork, and leadership among young individuals. The winning team, Olgara, was felicitated with trophies. Dr. Jaydev Kumar Mahato, Executive Director of Jharkhand Foundation Kendra, expressed gratitude to all the teams and volunteers, stating, “Sports are a great equalizer and bring communities together. This tournament is just the beginning of our continued commitment to youth development in Jharkhand.”

In a heartfelt tribute to the memory of late Suman Roy, a passionate young cricketer from the village of Radhagaown, Panchayat of Bokaro District, the local community came together to organize a friendly yet spirited cricket tournament on 15/6/2025. The tournament not only honored his love for the game but also celebrated the unity and spirit of the village. Teams from neighboring villages participated enthusiastically, showcasing sportsmanship, teamwork, and talent.

            To inspire and guide the young participants, motivational speakers Dr. Jaydev Kumar Mahato from Jharkhand Foundation Kendra, a well-known NGO working for education, youth empowerment, and skill development, were invited as special guests. The speakers shared inspiring stories about the importance of dedication, hard work, and following one’s passion against all odds, values that Suman himself deeply believed in. The guests appreciated the villagers’ initiative in promoting both sports and positive social values among rural youth. They also emphasized how such community-driven events help in building confidence and a healthy competitive spirit among young people. The event left a lasting impact, filling the hearts of villagers with pride and reminding everyone that while Suman may no longer be with them, his dreams and spirit will continue to inspire many.

Behind every triumph of a national winning team lies a visionary coach whose leadership, strategy, and unwavering dedication propel their athletes to greatness. At the helm of this national winning team stands Coach Ranjeet Sir (Ex. Athletic, Tata Steel), a dedicated individual on a mission to transform lives through free physical training. He is transforming thousands of lives by giving free education and training in his training camp, GPTC, Karpuria. JFK is pleased to be part of this venture where we foster a culture of excellence and ignite the flame of motivation, which aims to cultivate champions who embody the values of dedication, discipline, and determination for the nation.
