On the occasion of the 121st Foundation Day of Bank of India (BOI), the Pindrajora Branch organised an inspiring and meaningful programme focused on higher education, career guidance, and motivation for children from rural communities. The programme was graced by Dr. Jaydev Kumar Mahato, Executive Director of Jharkhand Foundation Kendra, who was invited as the Chief Guest. Dr. Mahato was specially invited to interact with and motivate the participating children, encouraging them to dream big, pursue higher education, and work towards building a successful career. The event brought together more than 30 children, along with their parents and participants from the local community. The programme provided the young participants with an opportunity to learn about the importance of education, career planning, discipline, and perseverance.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mahato encouraged the children to recognise their potential and remain committed to their studies. He emphasised that children from rural backgrounds can also achieve great success when they receive proper guidance, confidence, and opportunities. His motivational interaction inspired the students to look beyond their present circumstances and aspire to higher goals. As part of the Foundation Day initiative, Bank of India also distributed educational kits and school bags among the participating children. The gesture was warmly appreciated and reflected the bank’s commitment to supporting education and contributing to the development of young minds in rural areas.

The programme was not merely a celebration of Bank of India’s 121 years of service; it was also a meaningful effort to invest in the dreams and aspirations of the next generation. By combining career guidance with motivation and educational support, the Pindrajora Branch demonstrated how community-focused initiatives can make a positive difference in the lives of rural children. The event concluded with a sense of enthusiasm and optimism among the children and participants. The initiative highlighted the importance of collective efforts by financial institutions, educators, social organisations, and community leaders in creating better educational opportunities for rural youth. As Bank of India marks its 121st Foundation Day, the Pindrajora Branch’s initiative stands as a reminder that the true spirit of service lies not only in financial inclusion but also in empowering young people with knowledge, confidence, and the opportunity to build a brighter future.
